RiskAssist Program

Pendulum’s RiskAssist Program gives a facility or community access to a Pendulum Risk Control Consultant, who will work with them on site on a focus area (or areas) of the facility or community’s choosing such as documentation, training, or risk management.

We know there are many challenges for providers who deliver independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing facility and community services.

The Pendulum RiskAssist Program has three components:

  • First, there is an initial call to discuss the area of focus (up to three areas per consultation)
  • Then, an on-site day for implementation, training, mentoring, etc.
  • Finally, a 30–60-day follow-up discussion to offer support with the areas of focus, recommendations, and/or implementation

The Pendulum RiskAssist Program also includes one-year access to the Pendulum Risk Management Resource Center for Senior Housing, which offers users access to numerous documents, such as sample clinical policies and procedures, assessment forms, checklists, and more!

RiskAssist Program:

Documentation Focus

A Pendulum Risk Control Consultant partners with your facility or community to review documentation policies, conduct a review of medical/ resident record documentation, and then help you with improvement strategies.

Training Focus

You pick the focus, and a Pendulum Risk Control Consultant will review protocols and/or policies relating to the requested training topic, create the training, and then give the in-service while on location.

Risk Management Program

Let us help you improve your risk program. A Pendulum Risk Control Consultant will review the current risk program before the visit. Then, while on-site, they will attend a Risk and/or Safety Committee meeting, followed by a round-table discussion with recommendations on how to enhance the risk management program.

Mentoring

A new Director of Nursing or Health Services Director may want or need assistance or validation that they are prepared. A Risk Control Consultant will spend time on-site to observe and provide guidance and support.
